Billy Currington’s easy-going single “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer” has him in the Top 5, so it seems his timing is just as good as his guzzling talents.

His next album, Enjoy Yourself, will be released Sept. 21, which essentially means the single will be peaking right around the same time the new project comes out.

Billy titled his last release A Little Bit Of Everything, and it appears he’s showing the same sort of versatility with the new one.

“It’s a great mix,” he says. “It reflects who I am. I’m definitely not just one thing. I’m the beach guy, I’m the country guy, I love my dirt roads and fishin’, but I love New York City and L.A. and Miami, too.”

Before the calendar reaches the release date, Billy has an important TV appearance on tap. He’ll be one of the artists featured on the ABC special “CMA Music Festival: Country’s Night To Rock” on Sept. 1. Hosted by Tim McGraw, the evening will also include Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Jamey Johnson, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Jason Aldean and Carrie Underwood.
