There will be no more splitting time between the States and Canada for Carrie Underwood and her hockey star husband Mike Fisher! The Nashville Predators announced today that they have acquired Mike from the Ottawa Senators.
“We were seeking a top-six forward and Mike Fisher was the player we set our sights on,” David Poile, the Preds’ President of Hockey Operations/General Manger, said. “He plays playoff-style hockey all season long. He plays on the power play, kills penalties, is strong on draws and can match up against any opposing line.”
The couple have been splitting their time between Carrie’s Nashville home and Mike’s home in Ottawa since they married in July. Now that Mike’s job has ‘carried’ him to Nashville, it looks like the pair can give their passports a bit of a breather!
