David St. Romain will perform at the Nashville Navy Party to kick off this year’s CMA Music Festival. The show starts at 5:00 on Tuesday, June 7 at Limelight. David himself is a former member of the Louisiana Army National Guard.
“My brother was in the national guard, so it was an obvious choice for me,” David said. “Our parents couldn’t afford to send me to college, so the Guard was a way to take that step.”
David turned heads when his single about a mother’s love, “Twenty Years Late,” hit radio just in time for Mother’s Day. His debut album, All I Really Wanted To Say, on which he wrote or co-wrote six of the 12 songs, is available now.
