Reba McEntire & Blake Shelton, co-hosts of the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire raised $500,000 for Oklahoma tornado victims during their two sold out Tornado Relief Concerts held May 25 and 26 in Durant, Oklahoma. The Oklahoma natives entertained for over two hours each night and welcomed special guests Susie McEntire-Eaton and Kelly Clarkson during the second show.

Reba and Blake co-headlined the event, opening with a duet of “Oklahoma Swing.” They took turns at the mic, harmonizing and telling jokes between songs and showcasing their current singles, Reba’s “When Love Gets a Hold of You” and Blake’s “Honey Bee.” They ended the night with an encore, in which they did their first solo performances. Blake sang “Ol’ Red” before Reba took the stage for “Fancy,” sending the audience home feeling encouraged following the aftermath of the tornadoes not just in Oklahoma but across the south and midwest.

The May 26 show was added  after the May 25 show sold out in under two hours. All proceeds from both shows as well as generous donations from The Choctaw Nation and fans will go toward Atoka County’s ongoing relief effort through the Tuhka Disaster Relief Fund.

Additionally, a special mobile fundraising campaign has been set up with The mGive Foundation which allows fans to text “OKGIVE” to 27722 to make a one-time $10 donation, which will be added to their monthly cell phone bill. Checks can also be made out to the Tushka Disaster Relief Fund and mailed to: 101 SE 1st Street, Tushka, OK 74525.
