The 2011 Billboard Music Awards were held last night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. Taylor Swift was one of the biggest winners taking home three trophies, including one of the evening’s highest honors, the all-genre Top 200 Albums Artist Award. Taylor also took home the trophy for Top Country Artist, and her now-Triple-Platinum Speak Now album was voted Top Country Album.

Taylor wasn’t the only country act to take home an award last night, Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” took honors for Top Country Song.  Lady A also took the stage to perform their latest hit single “Just A Kiss.”

Keith Urban arrived with wife Nicole Kidman and had one of the more memorable moments of the night when he took the stage for a banjo duel with  host Ken JeongAfter Keith finished his country and rock infused banjo solo it was obvious to Ken that there was no hope for a rebuttal and he proceeded to smash his banjo on the stage and fly into a karate demonstration. In addition to his banjo battle, Keith performed his latest hit “Long Hot Summer.”
