Rock Hill, SC – Michele Bachmann is touting herself as the “unifying candidate” in the Republican presidential race. The Minnesota congresswoman told supporters at a town hall meeting yesterday at South Carolina’s Winthrop University that she is the only candidate who understands the non-Republican point of view.
Bachmann said her early days as a Democrat working on Jimmy Carter’s presidential campaign will help her attract Democratic and independent voters.
