Taylor Swift To Perform With The Black Eyed Peas

Taylor Swift will join The Black Eyed Peas at the historic Chase presents the Concert 4 NYC in Central park on Thursday, June 9. The concert kicks off a busy weekend for Taylor, whose Speak Now World Tour will land in Detroit for its first stadium stop on Saturday before she heads back to Nashville to close out this year’s CMA Music Festival at LP Field Sunday night.

“We are thrilled to have Taylor on board to benefit two very important causes,” said Fergie of The Black Eyed Peas. “Not only will she will be an amazing addition to our lineup, she is an incredible inspiration to people of all ages and her music gives a voice to those who feel left behind.”

Natasha Bedingfield, MC Hammer, Debbie Harry, LL Cool J and Carole King are also scheduled  to perform at the concert, which will support the Robin Hood Foundation and its mission to fight poverty in New York City.
