Toby Keith will play a special show as part of Nashville’s legendary The Bluebird Café’s BirdSongs Series on Tuesday, June 28 at 9:00pm. Toby will perform acoustically along with long-time collaborators Bobby Pinson and Scotty Emerick.

“It’s an honor to have a writer/artist of Toby Keith’s stature perform here at The Bluebird Café,” said Erika Wollam Nichols, General Manager of The Bluebird Cafe. “People automatically recognize Toby as a superstar but don’t always realize that he is an amazing, and award-winning, songwriter as well. We are thrilled to have him performing with his co-writers in support of The BirdSongs Series.”

The BirdSongs Series was created to help pay off the debt accrued through NSAI’s purchase of The Bluebird Café. The venue has been an instrumental part of numerous songwriters and performers’ careers. Songwriters from the newest stars to top hit writers have rallied to help the venue that gave them their starts and this year, artists are joining in as well.

“God blessed me to be a songwriter first and foremost,” Toby said. “I remember going to writer’s night at the Bluebird. It’s great to have a place for songwriters to showcase their songs. It can open a door that just makes a song fly. Just one moment of inspiration and you’re off. Nashville needs to keep the Bluebird alive and thriving.”

This will be Toby’s first-ever scheduled performance at The Bluebird Café. He will autograph the guitar he will play throughout the show which will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the auction as well as the cover charge for the show will be donated to The Bluebird Café.

Doors open at 8:30PM on June 28. Admission is $75 for regular seats and $150.00 for gold circle seats. Reservations for the general public are available now at  More information about upcoming BirdSongs shows are available on the site as well.
