LeAnn Rimes will headline the first ever stand-alone benefit concert for ACM Lifting Lives. ‘Lifting Lives at Joe’s Bar’ will take place on August 15 at Chicago’s Joe’s Bar, winner of the Nightclub of the Year Award from the Academy of Country Music this year. Joe’s Bar will both host the event and underwrite the costs associated with the event so every ticket purchase will go directly to ACM Lifting Lives. American Idol’s Crystal Bowersox will also perform.
Tickets for the show can be purchased through Ticketweb at http://www.ticketweb.com. General admission tickets are $25 and include appetizers and an open bar, while VIP tickets can be purchased for $95 and include a premiere viewing area for the concert and a VIP reception to meet and greet the artist. The show begins at 7:30pm.
ACM Lifting Lives is the charitable arm of the Academy of Country Music dedicated to improving lives through the power of music. Each year, ACM Lifting Lives provides grants to music therapy and music education programs as well as serves members of the country music community who face unexpected medical or financial hardship.
