Taylor Swift is back on the road after a case of bronchitis caused her to postpone a handful of shows. She resumed her Speak Now World Tour in Canada with sold out shows in Montreal and Toronto. Taylor made sure to salute three of Canada’s most famous exports with an acoustic medley in Toronto of Alanis Morissette’s “You Learn,” Justin Bieber’s “Baby” and “She’s So High” by Tal Bachman. Besides Canada, her tour has taken her to the far corners of the world, starting off in Asia and winding through Europe before returning to North America.
“We started off the year in January going to Asia and touring in places I never thought I’d get to go to, like the Philippines and Singapore and Korea and back to Japan,” Taylor said. “Then going straight to Europe and getting to play in places that I never expected people to know the words to all the songs, like you’re playing in like Germany or Spain or Italy and you look out and they know every single word.”
Back on U.S. soil, Taylor is presenting fans with a brand new show from those she played overseas. “We completely re-vamped the stage and it’s a different set up and everything because for international you have to have like a different stage that you can take everywhere,” she said. “So this has been amazing having dancers and aerialists.”
