Sunny Sweeney has had a big summer. Besides touring with Brad Paisley on his H2O II: Wetter & Wilder Tour, she also released her new album, Concrete. She’s had so much fun on Brad’s tour that she didn’t want to take time off when Brad left the country for a two week European tour.
“We had two or three weeks off when Brad went to Europe, and I felt like I had been at camp and then my mom made me come home, you know,” Sunny said. “Where I’m like, ‘But I was having so much fun. Why are you gonna make me come home?’ And then when we got to go back I was like, ‘oh, okay, we’re back.’”
Sunny is still in awe that she gets to spend her days playing music for her fans and on tour with Brad. “It’s kind of unbelievable that this is what I’m getting to do for a job,” she said. “It’s just kind of like, holy moly! This is this is awesome!”
There are still a few weeks left at ‘summer camp’ for Sunny. The H2O II: Wetter & Wilder tour wraps September 25 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Have you been to one of the shows? Give us your “mini review” in the comments section!
