Lady Antebellum has scheduled a Nashville stop on their Own The Night World Tour and country radio will have a prime seat. The band is using their February 22 show in Music City, which happens to fall during Country Radio Seminar 2012, to say thank you to radio members from all over the country for supporting them.
“We feel like it was just yesterday when we heard our first single on the radio for the first time,” Hillary Scott said. “Here we are four years later with so much gratitude and love in our hearts for our friends at Country radio. With our Own The Night Tour going on this spring, we thought what better time to play Nashville than during CRS… we want this to be a huge party to celebrate our relationship with Country radio, our hometown, and OWNING THE NIGHT!”
Lady Antebellum will also make a donation to help support CRS programs including its scholarship, seminar and the Country Radio Hall of Fame.
“The direct relationship that Country radio has with its artists is unparalleled in this business,” Bill Mayne, CRS Executive Director , said. “Country Radio Seminar has always strived to strengthen those relationships, and we are deeply appreciative of Lady Antebellum’s generosity and recognition of those efforts. This show marks the first of several upcoming artist announcements we have planned in the coming months as CRS continues to evolve and create new and exciting events at the most comprehensive Country radio industry event in the world.”
CRS attendees will receive a ticket to the show in their on-site registration packets and shuttles will be provided to and from the venue. The show will also feature Darius Rucker and Thompson Square. CRS 2012 will be held February 22-24 in Nashville. To register, visit www.CountryRadioSeminar.com or call (615) 327-4487.
