Thompson Square’s Third Annual Josie’s Birthday Bash benefit concert will take place November 16 at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. Thompson Square and special guests to be announced in the coming weeks will perform to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Josie’s Birthday Bash was born when Keifer and Shawna Thompson learned a close friend’s granddaughter, Josephine, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. After learning of Josie and her family’s struggle, Thompson Square reached out to their musical friends for a benefit concert on Josie’s birthday. The concert has since became an annual event.
“Shawna and I know firsthand how much Josie’s family has to go through in coping with this debilitating disease,” Keifer Thompson said. “We just want to do as much as we can to help little Josie and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We’re really blessed to be in a position where we can try to make a difference.”
Besides the concert, there will also be a silent auction of notable memorabilia available when the venue’s doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets go on sale October 15 at www.wildhorsesaloon.com with general admission starting as low as $17.50 and VIP/meet-n-greet tickets for $100.
