Each member of the Eli Young Band has their own favorite music and artists who have served as influences, but as a group, they agree the band they respect and admire most is the Zac Brown Band.

“They’ve opened so many doors for bands in country music, which I think is great, and hopefully we can do the same for other acts,” Jon Jones said. “[We] had a chance to play with them and they’re not only great musicians but also great people.”

“They really think out of the box musically, and we’ve always tried to be a band that [doesn't] just stay middle of the road,” Mike Eli said. “We really try to make music that is impactful and is hitting on new territory. I think that Zac Brown Band being as much of a success as they have, they’ve continued opening doors for bands like us.”
