Rock Hill — A man convicted of killing one man and shooting two others last year along a haunted trail will spend the next four decades behind prison.
17-year-old Brandon Davis pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter, three counts of attempted murder and other charges earlier this month, and his sentence — the maximum — was handed down Wednesday afternoon.
Solicitor Kevin Brackett said Davis and three accomplices stole nearly 15-hundred dollar from a cash box at the Trail of Terror on highway 901 back in October of last year, injuring one man.
Three days later, he shot and killed 23-year-old Anthony Whitlock and shot Whitlock’s 42-year-old uncle in the shoulder. Brackett told the court Wednesday, “Mr. Davis has no regard for anybody else’s life. He doesnt’ care if they live or die… he’s a selfish man.”
