Economic development leaders in York County plan to use contributions from two area businesses to attract more industry to the area. 
Wednesday afternoon, Comporium Communications announced their 200-thousand-dollar contribution towards the 1.4-million dollar speculative building — through a special line in the state’s tax code.

The project is a 40-thousand square foot speculative building in the Antrim business park off Dave Lyle Blvd.
County Manager Jim Baker says the project is funded not only by Comporium, but a local electric utility.

The 1.4-million dollar figure also includes approximately 300-thousand dollars for land and aesthetic improvements.
