GAC extends prayers and get well wishes to Wade Hayes, who was recently diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer, reports Roughstock.

Wade’s ’90s hits included “Old Enough To Know Better,” “The Day She Left Tulsa (In A Chevy)” and “On A Good Night.” He released an album in 2009 called A Place To Turn Around and lately has been an in-demand sideman for stars including Alabama‘s Randy Owen.

Roughstock reports the cancer had spread from his colon to his liver, but after a successful surgery, Wade is now resting comfortably. The site adds that his prognosis is very good and after healing from surgery, he will undergo six months of chemotherapy. If you’d like to leave a message on Wade’s Facebook Fan Page, click HERE.
