Drug unit seizes more fake pot from York County convenience stores

Just days after a high school student was hospitalized after smoking a form of enhanced marijuana, York County Drug Agents and the State Law Enforcement Division sized synthetic versions of the drug from area merchants.

York County Drug Enforcement Unit Commander Marvin Brown tells WRHI that 1,339 packs of synthetic marijuana were seized from four area convenience stores.

Brown said agents checked six stores Tuesday — in an ongoing effort to stop the sale of the illegal drug.

Brown said no arrests have been made but the investigation continues into the store owners pending lab testing.
