A Lancaster County Sheriff’s Deputy has been arrested after police say he was stealing materials from a Lancaster County construction site.
A release from the Sheriff’s Office says 36-year-old Kenneth Perdue of Lancaster was arrested after witnesses said they had seen a marked patrol car leaving the area of Lakeshore Drive, and later found materials missing from a home construction site.
Both the Lancaster County Sheriffs Office and the State Law Enforcement Division investigated the theft, and Purdue faces charges of burglary, petit larceny and misconduct in office.
