Dierks Bentley wrapped up the Canadian leg of his 2012 Country & Cold Cans Tour on Thursday with a show in Winnipeg, Manitoba. On the return trip home, Dierks’ bus, nicknamed ‘Old Goldie,’ tripped one million miles on the odometer just after crossing back into the U.S.
“Goldie has been my home on the road since I put out my very first single,” Dierks said. “A lot of memories have been made traveling across the country in Goldie, and I’ve been able to see every city and town three or four times. If you look at my guitar or my boots or my truck, you know that I love old things. I hope she makes it another million!”
Dierks played shows in eight cities during his tour of Canada. He just released his six studio album, Home, which debuted at No. 1 on the country album chart. Dierks will take his Country & Cold Cans Tour to Australia in March before kicking off a 20-city U.S. spring leg.
