Miranda Lambert made her acting debut on last night’s episode of Law & Order: SVU. Miranda played Lacy, an actress believed to have been sexually assaulted by a reality show producer, played by Michael McKean. Miranda developed the character of Lacy in her mind before going in front of the cameras.

“I play a girl named Lacy Ford,” Miranda said to ET. “I see her as a girl from the south who comes to New York City to try to make it. She probably has a bad home life, maybe has issues with her dad and is looking for approval.”

Miranda’s friend got her hooked on the legal drama several years ago. She says she has every episode on DVD. “Guest starring on SVU is like, a 6-year pipe dream that is actually true today,” Miranda said. “I love SVU. It’s my favorite show. I watch every marathon. It’s my bus staple.”

This weekend, Miranda will head to the GRAMMY Awards where she will serve as a presenter. She is currently headlining her On Fire Tour with special guests Jerrod Niemann and Chris Young.
