Darryl Worley will release his brand new single, “You Still Got It,” to radio on March 19. The upbeat tune, co-written by Darryl and Brett Jones, is his first new music in nearly two years. It will likely strike a chord with women, as it’s about how a woman still has what it takes to turn a man’s head even after they’ve been together for years.
“I went to Brett’s house one day and he played me the chorus,” Darryl said. “I said, ‘That’s a hit!’ It sounded like it had been around for 25 years, and I knew a song with that kind of classic feel was a no-brainer. It’s got a really cool dance groove and it’s got that thing that makes women love it. That’s always a positive thing.”
Darryl’s new song is just a preview of what’s to come. He recently signed a new record deal with Tenacity Records/Crazytown Records and his new album, One Time Around, is tentatively scheduled to be released in June. A music video for “You Still Got It” will be released in the coming weeks.
