TNA Impact Wrestling’s Cowboy James Storm’s entrance music, “Longnecks and Rednecks,” is being released to country radio this week. He was joined for the music video shoot in Columbia, Tennessee by Montgomery Gentry. The song is performed by TNA Knockout Music Vice President Serge Salinas and is co-written by him and Dale Oliver.
Cowboy James Storm is a former World Heavyweight Champion and a multi-time World Tag Team Champion. He grew up listening to country and southern rock music and when he approached Montgomery Gentry as well a few other musician friends about the video, they jumped at the chance to join him.
“I am thrilled that the guys had time in their schedule to be a part of the video,” he said. “We had a great time shooting and my other buddies Cowboy Troy and Sean Patrick McGraw joined us for the party. Even my wife made an appearance in the video.”
This is the first time TNA Knockout Music has released a song to country radio. It is already receiving a lot of buzz. “The response to this song has been so overwhelming and fits James’ persona so perfectly, we felt like releasing it as a single and shooting a music video was a great way to expose James in a different way,” TNA President Dixie Carter said.
Cowboy James Storm was recently featured in Country Weekly and can be seen every Thursday at 9/8 PM CT on SPIKE TV during the top-rated Impact Wrestling.
