A New England Company with a production facility in Lancaster County announced plans Monday to triple its investment in the Palmetto State.
Rhode Island-based Cooley Group has operated in Lancaster for the past decade, but said it plans to spend another 10-million dollars to add new equipment at its site in the Lancaster Business Park.
Governor Haley praised the company’s commitment to South Carolina.

Cooley Group Vice President David Petty said that their ability to hire 50 jobs immediately depends on how quickly they can get new manufacturing equipment shiped to Lancaster.

Haley cited declining unemployment figures statewide, saying it’s a sign of good things to come.

The Cooley Group has operated out of the Lancaster Business Park for the last decade.
