Researcher: Obama’s support of gay marriage won’t hurt his re-election

A prominent Winthrop University political science professor and researcher says President Obama’s recent support of same-sex marriage will not hurt his re-election chances.

Dr. Scott Huffmon said on Friday’s edition of Straight Talk on WRHI that most people who are adamantly opposed to gay marriage aren’t going to vote for Obama anyway.



Huffmon says what Obama has done is thrown a bone to his base.
