Alan Jackson [2] is gearing up to release his highly anticipated new album, Thirty Miles West, on June 5. The album will be his first release on ACR/EMI Nashville and is produced by longtime friend and producer Keith Stegall. He will celebrate the release with appearances on NBC’s The Today Show and CBS’s Late Show With David Letterman.

Before the June 5 release, fans can tune in to GAC tomorrow, June 2, at 9/8 p.m. Central to catch Alan featured on an episode of Noteworthy at the Opry [3]. The show will center around Alan performing tracks from his new album on the Grand Ole Opry [4] as well as a few of his past hits. Carrie Underwood [5] also makes a special appearance to sing with Alan on one of his most memorable songs.

Alan is also on the cover of the current issue of Country Weekly, available on newsstands now. In the exclusive interview, Alan and his wife Denise talk about how they dealt with her recent cancer diagnosis and how their lives have changed since she was declared cancer free. He also discusses his new music, including the song he wrote for Denise, “When I Saw You Leaving (For Nisey).”

Thirty Miles West is the first album on Alan’s new label home, ACR/EMI Records Nashville. It includes his current hit, “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore,” as well as a new collaboration with Zac Brown Band. [6]
