Charlie Daniels to Hold Annual Christmas Benefit Concert November 19

Charlie Daniel’s [2] 11th annual Charlie Daniels Band & Friends Concert to benefit Christmas 4 Kids will take place November 19 at the Ryman Auditorium [3] in Nashville. Phil Vassar [4] and Thompson Square [5] are scheduled to perform with more acts to be released in the coming weeks.
Christmas 4 Kids has provided children with a shopping spree at Christmas for more than 25 years. Funds raised by the concert and the Tour Bus Show/Artist Meet and Greet event are used to give over 400 children from 29 different schools a day-long shopping trip that includes a chauffeured trip from their school on a tour bus, lunch, and a party hosted by Santa and Mrs. Claus. They wrap up their day with a trip to the Hendersonville, Tenn., Walmart, where they receive a new winter coat and $150 to spend however they’d like.
