Gang Investigator Cut by Murder Suspect

The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office says its gang investigator is recovering and doing fine after being cut in the neck by a murder suspect.  Sheriff Barry Faile says Fred Thompson was taking 19-year-old Keith Robinson into an interview room to be questioned about other crimes deputies suspect he was involved with.  Faile says Robinson began complaining about the shackles around his legs.  When Thompson tried to examine them, Robinson removed the blade from a razor given to him by the detention center and slashed Thompson on his neck.  Thompson was taken to a nearby hospital.  Robinson was arrested by police in June and charged with murder in the death of 54-year-old Donald Morris,
