Lisa Marie Presley made her Grand Ole Opry [2] debut on August 21. She wowed the audience with performances of “Over Me,” “Storm of Nails” and “Weary,” all of which are found on her latest album, Storm & Grace.
“It’s an honor for me to be here,” she said as she took the stage. “Thank you for having me.” Backstage she added, “I grew up not far away and am a huge fan of so many who have been here. I know how important this is.”
Storm & Grace was produced by 12-time Grammy-winner T Bone Burnett, whose credits include the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack as well as albums by Alison Krauss [3] and Robert Plant, Roy Orbison and more. Lisa Marie co-wrote all of the songs on the album.
