Lady Antebellum's 2012 Christmas album, On This Winter's Night.

Lady Antebellum ^[2] will release their Christmas album, On This Winter’s Night, on October 22. In a recent episode of Webisode Wednesday, the band sat down to discuss the making of the project, including how they got in the holiday spirit in the middle of July. They also shared behind the scenes footage of the snowy album cover shoot in Park City, Utah, and revealed one of their favorite tracks.

“One of my favorite songs on this record, which is funny because its the most stripped down record of all of them, is ‘First Noel,’” Charles Kelley said. “Separately we’d come in to this meeting to try and decide what Christmas songs to do. I said ‘I really have this idea of a beautiful, really simpler version of “First Noel” and Dave goes ‘I was thinking the same thing!’”

With their Christmas album wrapped – no pun intended! – Lady A is back on the road for a string of shows in Australia. They’ve also returned to the studio to begin work on their next studio album.
