Regional Airport Benefits from DNC

The regional airports outside Charlotte and Mecklenburg County experienced more air traffic as a result of last week’s Democratic National Convention. Rock Hill York County Airport administrator Eric Ramsdell says the increase in activity was expected.

Ramsdell says the activity from the DNC continued into Friday, and the effect is still being tabulated.

Ramsdell says more money was spent in Rock Hill and York County because of increased air traffic.
