Brantley Gilbert’s latest single, “More Than Miles,” is a true story. In the song, Brantley tells of leaving his now-former girlfriend to chase his dreams.
“A lot of people in the business have put a lot of pressure on me since I started writing up here and since [moved] to Nashville,” he said. “That song is actually word for word true. It’s an actual situation that happened. I was on my way to Nashville and we had just been in an argument and I just turned around and came home. I felt like that was more important than what I had to do up here, so that one’s word for word verbatim, true story!”
“More Than Miles” is at radio now. Brantley is headlining his Hell On Wheels Tour through November.
