A Rock Hill man on his way out of a York County courtroom Tuesday struck a public defender in the mouth, busting open his lip.
YCSOJudge William Nettles tacked on an additional six months during his contempt of court hearing Wednesday morning.
That sentence is the maximum allowed by law without an additional trial.
Williamson also has several pending strong arm robbery and drug charges, in addition to charges of first-degree assault and battery.
He remains in jail on $45,000 bond.
