A Rock Hill woman was arrested Thursday after reportedly striking her 13-year-old son in the face and then dropping him off at a gas station following an argument.
Officers were called to a gas station on Nations Ford Road late Thursday where the boy told police his mother struck him in the face twice and kicked him out of her car on Eden Terrace at Mt. Gallant Rd.
Police later contacted the boy’s mother, 33-year-old Charmekia Harrison, who said she hit the boy because he was being disrespectful.
Harrison faces a charge of unlawful conduct towards a child — and the boy and his 17-month-old sister were put in the custody of their grandmother.
