Rock Hill Police Chief to retire after four decades in law enforcement

Rock Hill Police Chief John Gregory has announced that he is retiring December 1st. Gregory is set to hold a 4 p.m. press conference Monday to make his announcement officials.
Gregory is now in his ninth year as the City of Rock Hill’s Police Chief after moving to Rock Hill in June 2003 as assistant Chief of Police in High Pointe, N.C.
Gregory’s carer in law enforcement spans four decades in both Carolinas. He first joined the police force in High Point as a cadet at the age of 17.
