Carrie Underwood Added to American Music Awards Lineup

Carrie Underwood, along with P!nk and Pitbull, have been added as performers at The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards. Previously announced performers include Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj, Linkin Park and Christina Aguilera. The show will air live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 18 at 8p|7c on ABC.

For the sixth year, winners will be determined by fan votes. Fans can cast their votes at amavote.com or AMA.abc.com. Artists will be honored in Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Contemporary Inspirational and for the first time, Electronic Dance Music categories.
