Carrie Underwood Added to American Music Awards Lineup

Carrie Underwood [2], along with P!nk and Pitbull, have been added as performers at The 40th Anniversary American Music Awards. Previously announced performers include Taylor Swift [3], Nicki Minaj, Linkin Park and Christina Aguilera. The show will air live from the NOKIA Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 18 at 8p|7c on ABC.

For the sixth year, winners will be determined by fan votes. Fans can cast their votes at amavote.com [5] or AMA.abc.com [6]. Artists will be honored in Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin, Contemporary Inspirational and for the first time, Electronic Dance Music categories.
