Ronnie Dunn recently performed a sold-out show at Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green to benefit the charities of the third annual Holiday Bash. The Holiday Bash charity began in 2010 as a joint venture of Commonwealth Broadcasting, WBKO-TV and United Country Auctions to raise funds for children’s charities in the weeks  before Christmas.

“This is an extraordinary collaboration of efforts to the great benefit of all charities involved and in turn, to all the children and families who rely on the work done by these charities,” Ronnie said.  “I’m happy to do my part and hope for the continued success of Holiday Bash.”

Among the charities supported by Holiday Bash include Boys and Girls Clubs, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, United Way, and many more.  Many of the children who benefit from Holiday Bash were on hand to meet Ronnie Dunn and thank him in person before his performance.

In addition to Ronnie’s concert, Holiday Bash will host a dinner at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green on November 30 with both a live and a silent auction. Auction items including University of Kentucky tickets, trips to NYC, Las Vegas, Hawaii, and Florida and autographed memorabilia from Charlie Daniels, Tim McGraw and Rascal Flatts are open for bidding now on www.proxibid.com/HeartlandRealty. More items will be added soon.
