In honor of Veterans Day, Kristy Lee Cook has released her new video, “Airborne Ranger Infantry.” Directed by Roman White, the video is a tribute to the men and women who have served in the U.S. military as well as their loved ones.

“Singing a song about men and women that have fought and served for our country and those who have lost their lives for us is very emotional – and I’m not an emotional person but there is a soft spot in my heart for our soldiers,” Kristy Lee told FOX411 Country. “I feel very privileged to be able to sing something for them in return for their sacrifice for me.”

Co-written by Kristy Lee along with her father, Larry Cook and songwriters Michael Logen and Luke Sheets, the track is based on poems written by her father about his experiences while serving in the war. Larry also makes a cameo in the music video. In addition, several of the actors portraying soldiers are also veterans.
