Danielle Peck spent her first trip to this year’s Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with a video crew, capturing a behind-the-scenes look at the rodeo for Roper Apparel & Footwear. She interviewed the Ropers Elite Team, took a tour of the Roper cowboy marketplace and covered the happenings at the Roper Booth at Mandalay Bay. She also interviewed fellow country artists Joey & Rory, Cowboy Troy, Joe Nichols, LoCash Cowboys and Western Justice among others.

“Having the opportunity to be in Vegas during the National Finals Rodeo has been one brand new experience that I’ll never forget,” Danielle said. “Calling this past week my ‘rodeo 101,’ there was a lot to learn! I needed someone to help out and show me the ropes … literally!”

Tyler Tryan, 6, and Bralon Tryan, 4, sons of World Champion Clay Tryan, helped teach Danielle a few tricks after competing in a children’s roping competition. They taught her how to roll the wrist and throw the rope. “It took a few tries but I eventually, with some luck, roped one!” Danielle said.

Put together by Amie Kiehn, production specialist at Karman Inc., the maker of Roper Apparel & Footwear, Stetson Apparel & Boots and Tin Haul, and Steven C Knapp, producer/director, fans can follow Danielle’s adventures  at Danielle also just released a new single, “Impossible Dreams.”
