ACM Lifting Lives has announced Lady Antebellum and their newly formed charitable effort, LadyAid, as its December ‘My Cause’ web feature. The monthly series brings awareness to artist-supported charitable organizations. It also supports fundraising efforts for those organizations. This month’s “My Cause: LadyAid” highlights the trio’s support for children in need on a local, national and global level. The multi-level campaign reaches children across the state of Tennessee through grants to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. On a national level, LadyAID is supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and on a global level, myLIFEspeaks and The UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR). Watch the web feature on LadyAid HERE.
At this year’s ACM Awards, ACM Lifting Lives encouraged artists to speak on camera about the causes they support. My Causes allows ACM Lifting Lives to demonstrate the Academy’s support of country artists. Over the past two years, ACM Lifting Lives has donated more than $45,000 to artists’ favorite charities and will again make donations.
ACM Lifting Lives is the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Country Music, dedicated to improving lives through music. Each year, the organization provides grants to music therapy and music education programs. It also supports members of the country music community facing unexpected medical or financial hardship.
