Authorities in Lancaster say a man robbed the manager of the Applebee’s restaurant on the S.C. 9 Bypass early this morning.
The manager told officers that just before 2 a.m., a man wearing a mask walked up to him and forced his way into a rear office demanding money. The manager told officers he gave the suspect cash and the man left the premises.
Officers responded minutes later but have not yet found a suspect.
Lancaster Police Capt. Scot Grant says the case remains under investigation.
