Johnson, who by day is a family physician, had one of the day rooms in Keystone’s inpatient treatment center, says one of the most fascinating things he’s seen over the last 30 years is treating patients from all walks of life.

Johnson’s medical practice sits across the street from Keystone’s offices. He says his service was a labor of love that from time to time, cut family vacations short.

Keystone is York County’s designated substance abuse agency and in addition to an in-patient treatment program, also has outpatient services to help those overcome substance abuse.
