Being siblings, The Band Perry has lots of Christmas memories together. Kimberly Perry remembers one Christmas when she received a karaoke machine – and had to share it with her brothers.

“This was way back in the day,” she said. “I remember we spent the entire Christmas day, there were only two microphones, which meant that one of us had to share, but we just wore it out, me and Mariah Carey, Boys II Men. Any of those great songs from the 90s.”

For Neil Perry, the most memorable and unique gift the trio received was a horse and carriage from their parents. “We lived on this little five acre farm down in Mississippi,” he said. “They told us about the horse. So we all ran out, Kimberly and I ran out of the house, and walked out and looked and the horse was on its back with all four legs up in the air. It had a stomach ache. So we could not actually ride the horse that day.”

Their dad didn’t want disappointed children on Christmas morning so he went out of his way to make sure their day was special. “Our dad actually carried us around in the carriage and he sort of became the horse for the day, if you will,” Kimberly said. “Our parents have just always made the holidays really special for the three of us.”
