Manning KimmelGary Williams and his nearly 300 employees spent the after noon racing the down a hill outside the company’s headquarters at the Cotton Factory on East White Street.

Each year, Williams and Fudge employees and management take part in the program. Williams says that this year, K-Mart pitched in by selling the bikes at a discounted cost.

Each year, hundreds of bikes are donated and distributed to children who otherwise might not have presents under the tree Christmas morning. Williams and Fudge Vice President David Williams said he was proud of the support from his staff.

If you would like to help give needy kids a Christmas they won’t otherwise have, drop off a toy at the WRHI studios at 142 North Confederate Avenue in Rock Hill. Donations are accepted through Christmas week.
