Brantley Gilbert Finds Country Fans Country Wide

Brantley Gilbert’s [2] first No. 1 hit was “Country Must Be Country Wide,” but he wasn’t prepared for just how wide country music’s reach is. When he first started touring the country, he was surprised to find passionate country fans in every city he visited.
“Anytime we tour up North and Northwest it takes you by surprise,” he said. “Before we toured, I didn’t go much farther than the beach on vacation. I always thought Northerners were city folks. That’s not the case at all. They’re just like us. They just got a different accent. So it’s definitely interesting.”
Brantley will be touring ‘country wide’ when he kicks off the second leg of his Hell On Wheels Tour January 31 in Independence, Missouri.
