A Lancaster man was sentenced to 15 years in prison today for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

In November 2010, 24-year-old Gary Davis was pulled over after he whizzed past a checkpoint outside a housing project in Lancaster. Officers saw a revolver sitting on the driver’s side floor of the car and later found a bottle of marijuana inside the center console.

Davis will face an additional 5 years supervised release and a $100 special assessment.
