Rascal Flatts [2] is old hand at touring by now. The trio just launched the winter leg of their Changed Tour and admit that after all the time they’ve spent on the road over the years, it can be challenging to keep their show fresh, for not only fans but themselves.

“Every passing year it’s been more difficult to try and top what we did the year before,” Jay DeMarcus said. “But somehow we find those little moments that we can switch up and make unique for each different tour.”

One way the band changes up their show is by adding new songs from their latest albums. They also work to make some of their earliest hits sound new and exciting.

“I think musically for Joe Don and I it’s neat to get in there and kind of mess with the music some, too,” Jay said. “God knows we’re not playing ‘Prayin’ for Daylight’ the same way every night for the past ten years.”

Rascal Flatts just released their latest single, “Changed,” to radio. Watch the video here [2].
