Three charged with stealing metal from McDonald’s ruins

Rock Hill Police have charged three men with stealing metal from the site of a McDonald’s restaurant on East Main Street that burned to the ground in December.

Rock Hill Police say the three were hauling off an air conditioning unit in the back of a pickup truck on Carolina Avenue Extension.

51-year-old Ricky Crawford, 55-year-old Nathan Morgan and 50-year-old Bernard McCullough all face charges of obtaining nonferrous metals.

All three were released from the York County Detention Center this weekend.
