Dierks Bentley is no stranger to being nominated for GRAMMY Awards. He’s heard his name called as a nominee a dozen times but to date, hasn’t picked up one of the coveted trophies. He’s got another chance this year as his song “Home” is up for Best Country Solo Performance. If he doesn’t win, he has plans to crash the stage if his pals, bluegrass band The Grascals, win their category.

“Let’s look at the stats,” Dierks said. “I’ve been nominated for 12, okay? I’m pretty used to clapping for somebody else and the camera’s right there. I got that down pretty good. I’m nominated for ‘Home,’ for Vocal Event of the Year, but The Grascals, I wrote a Bluegrass song that’s nominated. I talked to Jamey the other day from The Grascals, and I said, ‘If you guys win, can I rush up there with you?’”

Win or lose, Dierks is still set for a special performance with Miranda Lambert. The GRAMMYs air live on CBS at 8p|7c on Sunday, February 10.
